3 Brides for 3 Bad Boys

A wedding… whether it is a milestone in your life, something you don’t think you’ll ever do, or even something you are deathly afraid of..we all go to them, hear of them, or witness them at some point in our lives. Some of us only merely consider it, while others go through many and many of these acts themselves. This week’s featured author, Lucy Monroe’s current release, 3 Brides for 3 Bad Boys, puts a fun twist on the oh-so-perfect stereotype of marriage. This steamy novel involves three bad-boy brothers, who each have a different women to try to tame their wild sides.Rand has been proposed with an enticing deal regarding a property deed, Colton discovers he has found himself a beautiful Vegas showgirl, and Carter finds himself with a financial arrangement, that he may want to make into more of an arrangement. All three are different stories with great twists to keep you turning the pages. Oh, and check out the awesome booktrailer here:

It has been said that Monroe does not like to brag about herself, but only wants to share her gift and love for writing with her readers, so this very generous author is not only going to give away one signed copy of another release, but TWO….AND three signed book flats…to sone of you lucky comment posters. Now, I will be sure to let you know what these are as soon as I know, so you can see what you have the chance to add to your collection. Monroe , who has been on several national best seller lists in the US and in England, is said to have a strong emotion and strong sensuality portrayed through the characters that she loves. This Oregon-based author likes to transport her readers to a beautiful place where the heart rules and love conquers all, through her eloquent writing and powerful display of emotion. To read more about Monroe, check out her BYS bio.

Back to the subject of weddings and marriage, a theme in Monroe’s new release, here is my question of the week:

Whether you are married or not, or ever even want to if you aren’t, what would be your ideal wedding? Where would you want it, what theme, etc.? Just some fun…I would say that I would want mine to be on the moon. Highly unlikely, but it could happen one of these days!

So, hurry up and get a copy of 3 Brides for 3 Bad Boys, curl up and enjoy this one as you keep the pages turning Between Your Sheets.

My ideal wedding would be to get married on the beach somewhere on an exotic island!

Well, I've already been married, but now divorced, soooo if I was to get re-married, I'd love for it to be a theme of 18th-century. I love the clothes they wore.

I'm really looking forward to reading this book. I've been hearing a lot of good things about it & have recently added it to my list of books to buy.

I was married once (well, technically, I still am married - we're working on the divorce right now). Probably the only good thing about our marriage was the wedding (OK - maybe there were other things but it's kinda hard to remember at this stage).

It was very small but very lovely. We got married at the city hall in June. They had a gorgeous little gazebo surrounded in beautiful flowers. It was a beautiful, sunny day but not too warm. I think the best part was not having to pay for the flowers - LOL!

If I had to do it all over again, I would love to get married with a medieval theme.

Medieval themes..1800s..tropical places...this all sounds wonderful!!
But simple weddings are definitely beautiful too, I believe..

So, here is some more good stuff from Lucy...and she'll be posting on here soon, so be sure to check back so you can ask her questions, etc. :)

Here you go:

One of Lucy's favorite movies is "7 Brides for 7 Brothers" and she was really excited when her editor told her she wanted to tile the book 3 BRIDS for 3 BAD BOYS. It evokes some great memories for her, including taking her infirm mother (who has always loved live productions) to see the play along with her sisters for her mom's birthday a few years ago. An amazing experience that included her mother doing better healthwise than she had in a while.

Hugs,
Lucy

I love "7 Brides for 7 Brothers", I watch it whenever it's on TV.

I had gotten married at city hall, so was very simple, lol.

Hey, all...very fun! My wedding was very family centric. My sister who was a chef catered the reception and my other sister made my wedding dress (and did an AMAZING job). My baby sister was my maid of honor and my mom kept the last sister (always a troublemaker) in line. LOL

It was all good. I was so happy, I grinned through the whole walk down the aisle and the ceremony. So did dh. Man does he have a gorgeous smile, that guy!

Hope you are all having a great day, I know I'm enjoying the bits of spring sunshine that are showing up around here - early as usual. :)

Hugs to all,
Lucy

If I were to get married, again,
I would want to do it in a castle, rent it, bring family, dress medieval. Everyone, and stay for a month.

And I would want to marry a studly guy in a kilt with strong Scottish accent.

LOL, I'm digging Saroya's wedding!
If you find one like that let me know if he has a brother. :)

My grandfather married us and as he was getting up in years and a bit forgetful, he forgot to tell the congregation they could sit down. So after a while of standing, my mother-in-law finally sat down and everyone else followed. LOL The lovely thing is that I still have his book of worship where he had written our legal names (so that he wouldn't make a mistake) and I did not know this until he went into a nursing home and we distributed his things. It is one of my most treasured possessions.

But this doesn't answer your question. :-) If I were to remarry some day, I would want a simple wedding on the beach in either Bora Bora or Moorea. We would take off our shoes so that we might walk a small labyrnth traced in the sand and we would take turns leading the other down the path while holding hands, symbolizing that neither was the head over the other. Once the vows said we would walk barefoot down the sand to our awaiting canoe.

I have never been married nor am I seeing someone but I would like to be married someday.
My dream wedding is to either be married in Ireland or Scotland. It would be near water where my friends and family would also come. It would be like a handfasting only with a minister present. The men would either wear kilts or tuxedos while the women would wear beautiful gowns that would appear to be from the pagan times. I would wear a beautiful gown with celtic designs throughout it and with flowers in my hair. The rings that myself and my groom would exchange would either be celtic bands or claddaghs. The reception would take place outside, probably in a backyard with a tent overhead just in case it rains. So that is the gist of how i would want my dream wedding lol.

I love hearing about other people's dreams. DQ (Drama Queen - my daughter) has already got her wedding planned to nth degree. She cracks me up. :)

Thanks for the kudos on my books too! That means the world. :)

Hugs,
Lucy
