Under His Skin

What would you do if you had to surrender your pride to love? Rita Herron's new release, Under His Skin, involves a top-notch cop named Parker Kilpatrick who falls into the healing arms of blue-eyed beauty, nurse Grace Gardener. As Grace soon becomes a victim to a brutal attack, it opens the doors of an old case involving Grace, and now Parker must put his beloved job on the line to save the innocent beauty.

Herron's love for writing started as she fell for the suspense genre when she read her first Trixie Belden mystery. This award-winning author has now sold over forty five books, and will certainly keep the spine-tingling suspenseful romances as well as sexy romantic comedies coming for your reading pleasure!

Now, as you know, with each new post, one of you guys will be picked to receive a signed copy of one of Herron's other releases. We'll just have to make this a little suspenseful this week...hahaha. :)

And I'll leave you with a fun little question:

If you had a severe injury and had to go to the hospital, how would you want to be taken care of?

Hi Rita,

I'l make my answer a fun one, because a serious answer would be tough to express for me.

If I had a severe injury and had to go to the hospital, I'd wish for a male nurse or doctor who was both very attractive and had a great sense of humor, so that he could help me both physically and mentally heal, so to help me forget that my injury could be life threatening. :0 Because just in case my injury turned out not to be as serious as first thought, I could have a chance at a happy ending. :)

Hey Dina!

That sounds like the way to be taken care of when put in a hospital situation..definitely the mix of attractive and great sense of humor. :)

Well..no more suspense..the giveaway for this blog will actually be a signed copy of Under His Skin. How awesome is that?!

Hi Marla & Rita, If I had a severe injury I would want Dr. Gregory House to be my Doc. Lol He is arrogant in a sexy way and always seams to fix the patients problem.

BTW Rita I love to read romantic suspense and have read several of your novels and loved them!
Keep them coming!

Hi Marla and Rita,

Just wanted to stop by and say I'm a huge fan of Rita's! I recommend all her books. The Nighthawk Island series is filled with twists and turns. I enjoyed getting to know Parker better after getting a glimpse of him in Up In Flames. Yep...I already read this one. Got it the day it first came out. :)

As for the question, I think I'd want to be cared for by a doctor who lives his/her job and truly cares about the patient. Okay, I don't want to get seriously injured. I don't wnat to go to the hospital.

Rita keeps you on the very edge of your seat. You can't put her books down and the diabolical ideas that drive her story are down right scary for such a sweet wonderful person. Beware and LOL enjoy!

Hi, everyone!
So sorry I didn't respond last week. I was seriously in bed with the flu but appreciate all the great feedback.
Thanks to Dorothy for buying the book the day it came out! And to all of you who have read me.
I love writing but it's a lonely job so am always thrilled to hear from a fan!

I do have more Nighthawk books coming out - one in May - IN THE FLESH, as well as another Texas Ranger book in August. I'm starting a new series with Intrigue in addition to the Nighthawk series. This one is called Guardian Angels and is about missing children so promises lots of emotion and romance. The first book in that series will be out in November.

Let's see what else: I have a new paranormal romantic suspense series coming out from Grand Central Publishing called THE DEMONBORN starting in September with INSATIABLE DESIRES. It's very sexy, edgy, and dark with my usual suspense, only delves more into the paranormal. If you like the Nighthawk series or read any of my single titles from HQN, I think you'll enjoy this trilogy!

Hope to hear from you all soon. I'll be posting more on my site with updates and am going to do an entire section for the new DEMONBORN triology!

Everyone going to RT - have fun. Wish I could be there. Not this year but will be in Orlando.

And if anyone is in GA and goes to Dragoncon, Jennifer St. Giles and I will both be there.
