Silken Shadows

Well...thanks for being patient..I am back with this week's featured author: Jennifer St. Giles.

Her new release, Silken Shadows delves into the world of the supernatural as our heroine, psychic Gemini Andrews, follows Captain Deverell Jansen on his search for a vicious killer. He must learn to trust in the love that Gemini is so certain of, to save her and himself, from an impending doom.

If you think this book sounds suspenseful and exciting, you really should check out this awesome booktrailer!

Giles has been a member of GRW and and RWA since 1994. Her road to becoming a published author has won her many awards including The Maggie Award. To read more about Giles, check out her BYS bio.

Here is some words directly from this fabulous author herself about Silken Shadows:

Silken Shadows was a lot of fun to write because I'd been able to evolve the heroine through two books before she got to tell her story. Gemini is the youngest of the three Andrews sisters and she watched as both Cassie and Andre fell in love with Sean and Alex Killdaren. During Cassie and Andre's romances, Gemini imagined herself attracted to several titled gentlemen, but none quite met up to snuff. It wasn't until she met the dark "devil" captain of her brother-in-law's ship did she truly meet a man worth his measure, Deverell Jansen. I think Gemini is the most daring of all of my historical heroines. Not only in her sense of adventure (she stows away on a ship), but in her courage to face an evil that could cost her soul, and in her sensual response to Deverell's killer kisses. I was also extremely thankful to be able to write Silken Shadows. I had major surgery done in Novemeber of that year, surgery that if anything went wrong the resulting problems would have been catastrophic. I was supposed to write Silken Shadows before going into surgery and wasn't able to. So making it through the surgery and being able to write so well after it was truly a wonderful blessing for me.

Remember to leave comments, so you can win a signed copy of one of her books! Also, you are going to want to see what she has to say, because she is excited to be involved, so you can ask her questions about any of her novels, her life in Atlanta, etc.

Happy April, everyone...and enjoy Silken Shadows while you enjoy your peaceful time, Between Your Sheets!

P.S.

Almost forgot my question:

How would you react if on the news you heard of a serial killer committing murders from the grave?

Seducing the Saint

Hey everyone! Happy St. Patrick's Day!

So get excited, because the new release for this week's featured author...will not even be made available until March 19th! That's right, Melissa Schroeder will be releasing her newest page-turner, Seducing the Saint this week. What better than to curl up by your fire place or lie out at the warm beach than with this smoldering novel about reunited love and an affair that can land them in a dangerous situation. Brady St. James, also known as the Saint, is known for his skills and knowledge which make the woman, Libby, return after six years to ask for his help and be by his side. They find that their love ignites some steamy passion and could bring the two to live happily ever-after, but that is, if they escape getting killed in the process...

If you want to know more about the dangerous affair, check out this book video:

Schroeder's love for romance novels began after her first Linda Howard book. As someone who believes that her mind has been warped by years of watching Monty Python, and her strange family, this novelist believes that her calling was to write romance novels with a comic edge. She has now become quite an accomplished writer with close to 20 short stories, novellas, and novels released. To read more about this very creative and interesting author, check out her BYS biography.

I'll be sure to let you know what the prize signed book is this week in the next day or so. Now comes my favorite part...my question of the week!!

Now, as you guys may have read in Schroeder's bio, she was born in a military hospital, grew up as a military brat, and vowing never to marry a person in the military, has, and now has some military brats of her own. If you have any affiliation with military, or if you did, what would you do if you were stationed somewhere far from everything you are used to?

Under His Skin

What would you do if you had to surrender your pride to love? Rita Herron's new release, Under His Skin, involves a top-notch cop named Parker Kilpatrick who falls into the healing arms of blue-eyed beauty, nurse Grace Gardener. As Grace soon becomes a victim to a brutal attack, it opens the doors of an old case involving Grace, and now Parker must put his beloved job on the line to save the innocent beauty.

Herron's love for writing started as she fell for the suspense genre when she read her first Trixie Belden mystery. This award-winning author has now sold over forty five books, and will certainly keep the spine-tingling suspenseful romances as well as sexy romantic comedies coming for your reading pleasure!

Now, as you know, with each new post, one of you guys will be picked to receive a signed copy of one of Herron's other releases. We'll just have to make this a little suspenseful this week...hahaha. :)

And I'll leave you with a fun little question:

If you had a severe injury and had to go to the hospital, how would you want to be taken care of?

Bridget's Rainbow

Happy March, all! A month that brings the rain and flowers with Spring..and for those who get excited about the very Irish holiday, St.Patrick’s Day, then you’ll be looking forward to picking a four-leaf-clover…and maybe drinking a good pint of Guiness.

Well, what more could go with the Irish theme than our featured author this week who loves to write stories with a Celtic twist. C.H. Admirand has recently released her newest book titled Bridget’s Rainbow. In this fantasy, a girl by the name of Bridget O’Halleran wishes on a magic rainbow for a strong and wise man to love her forever. Trouble ensues as this man appears to rescue her when she falls into a lake the rainbow is hovering over, and the magic begins to really take place involving a clever ghost, a host of faeries, and a gentleman’s duel.

To know more about Admirand, check out her BYS bio. Here are some words from C.H. Admirand herself, to give you even more of a personal perspective of the motives of this writer:

Hmmm...what's different about my books is that I like to use family names and my Celtic heritage in my writing. In my first book I named my hero after my youngest son, Joshua, and my heroine after my great-grandmother, the real Margaret Mary Flaherty...her picture is on the cover. It's a connection that I really enjoy.

As usual, as you guys post comments you know that one of you will be eligible to win a signed copy of a past release by the featured author. Admirand is going to give away a signed copy of Patience, a story about three cousins, Patience, Charity, and Prudence, who are the complete opposite of their names. Here is an awesome book trailer for this book:

My question of the week:

What would you do if you wished upon a rainbow, and magical faeries appeared to guide you in your wishes directions? I know this is kind of a silly question, but I am curious to see responses on this! :)

Keep it happy….keep it relaxed..and keep it nice and cozy, Between Your Sheets!
